SOCCERFEST BANNERS
Enter your handmade team banner in our annual contest at the
Soccerfest Parade on Friday, September 6, 2024
Rules:
1. All banners must be handmade, measuring 3’ x 4’. or 4’ x 3’.
2. The sponsor’s name must be displayed in 2 inch (minimum) block letters.*
3. The team name and colors need to be on the banner.
4. Professionally made banners will not be judged/cannot win a prize.
Instructions:
1. Bring the banner to the Soccerfest parade staging area (Crestmoor Upper Field)
BY 5:15 pm, Fri., Sept. 6. (see Soccerfest flyer for additional information)
2. The criteria for a winning banner is:
● Design (handmade)
● originality
● creativity
● sponsor’s name at least 2 inch letters*
(leave room to add a sponsor on your banner if one was not initially provided)
Prizes:
Four prizes each will be awarded in four groups.
Group 1 5U/6U - 1st, 2nd prizes
Group 2 8U teams- 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th prizes
Group 3 10U teams- 1st, 2nd prizes
Group 4 12U, U14 teams 1st, 2nd prizes
First place winners will receive $50
Second place winners will receive $40
Third place winners will receive $30
Fourth place runners up will receive $25
*If a team has NOT been assigned a sponsor, they are still eligible to win the contest.
*Sponsor Funds to not go to the team, they go to San Bruno AYSO
